I guess we are the last people on the earth to create a blog, and we thought it would be a good idea to keep people aware of what we are doing down here in the beautiful South! Things are going well. We are in our house (sort of) and unpacked (sort of). We are anxious to have guests, so please start booking your reservations! No pool just yet, but if you complain enough, I think the management will give in! Kylee is still adjusting. She really loves her dance school and is starting to get used to the hot weather. Blaine is busy with football, as usual! I am actually a little bored. I really have a lot that I should be doing, but I am enjoying the fact that I get to be a little bored! It has been a long time since I have had time to be bored. Derek is planning on college in the fall. His plans change daily so we will keep you posted on that one. But, we are happy that college is in his plans!! We are all a little bummed that school begins so early. We really have not had a chance to hang out at the pool. We also have not had a lot of time outside because it is so hot. When we go outside, it is a ghost town. Everyone stays inside throughout the summer. I love the heat, but the other two don't love it as much as I do.

I am sooooo excited you are blogging now! I will check in regularly and see how things are going! Kim, have you gained that 300lbs that you told me you would after you moved there??!? Being bored = eating chocolate...right?

I have not quite gained 300 but maybe 250! Ky and I have been playing tennis to offset my horrible eating habits! CHOCOLATE!

From ghalliday...I think I am excited you are blogging. I don't even really know what that is. We are still here doing the same things. Grandma and Grandpa have good days and bad days. We hope we can still come. If we do and I need to get a tennis racket, what kind should I buy? We are getin gready to pour the cement for the hot tub (finally)! Love you all....
